Yoga Roots with Marjolein

Yoga Roots is boutique home studio in Torbay on the North Shore, Auckland. Marjolein offers weekly yoga classes and specialised workshops, see Timetable. The classes are small with a maximum of 10 participants. The Yoga Roots studio is a cosy and nurturing environment to unwind and relax. All yoga equipment is provided and sustainably made.

Marjolein is also the NZ stockist of the original Koshi Chimes from France. Order your chime online, or drop by in the studio to pick your personal favourite.

Yoga Roots is the NZ stockist of the hand made Koshi Chimes. These dreamy sound healing instruments are handmade in France, at the foot of the Pyrenean mountains. Their crystalline sound is incredibly soothing and calming. They are often used for sound healing, but are also wonderful to create a peaceful atmosphere in your home.

Available in four melodies: Terra (earth), Aqua (water), Ignis (fire) and Aria (air).

Meet Marjolein

Meet Marjolein

Yoga Teacher with the World Yoga Federation

Marjolein is originally from the Netherlands and now based with her family in Aotearoa.She began her yoga journey in The Netherlands with a classical hatha training and continued following trainings and teaching classes around the world. She have completed Yoga Alliance registered trainings in classical hatha yoga, pre-and postnatal yoga, restorative yoga, yoga nidra, transformational yoga and meditation.

Marjolein loves the quieter practices. She fell deeply in love with restorative, meditation and yin. She is a sincere yoga lover, dedicated mum, travel addict, foodie and nature lover at heart... Passionate about inspiring others to improve their wellbeing and live a joyful life.
