The bright season of summer is a time to fill our hearts and minds with beauty and delight. We're invited to enjoy abundance as the natural world blooms and the sun shines high in the sky.
Self Care Saturday is a collaboration with Naturopath and Herbalist, Samantha Haezlewood.
Samantha and Marjolein have created this event to guide you in nurturing your own self care as we move through the season of summer.

Your Facilitators
Samantha Heazlewood
Sam is a Naturopath & Herbalist, tea and tonic concoctress and Mum of two gorgeous girls. She loves time in the garden with her family, foraging and exploring our beautiful natural surroundings. She believes health is all about balance and uses a range of tools including, herbs, nutrition, and lifestyle balance to help her clients increase wellness and vitality.
Sam wants to empower people to incorporate herbal medicine and the healing properties of nature into their daily lives with ease and joy. Her range 'Witch Hazel Herbal Apothecary' is a variety of organic herbal loose leaf tea blends and products all of which are lovingingly made by hand with intention and care.
Sam's hand blended teas and skincare products are for sale in the Yoga Roots studio.
Marjolein van Leeuwen
Marjolein is a Yoga & Meditation Teacher, and the founder of the Yoga Roots studio.
She is originally from the Netherlands and now based with her family in Aotearoa. Marjolein began her yoga journey in The Netherlands with a classical hatha training and continued following trainings and teaching classes around the world. She have completed Yoga Alliance registered trainings in classical hatha yoga, pre-and postnatal yoga, restorative yoga, yoga nidra and transformational yoga.
Marjolein is a sincere yoga lover, dedicated mum, travel addict, foodie and nature lover at heart... Passionate about inspiring others to improve their wellbeing and live a joyful life.
