Beginners Yoga North Shore

Tuesday 6.30 - 7.30pm

Have you been wanting to start a yoga practice for a while? Then this 6-week course is for you! 

We will cover all the building blocks of yoga, so that you can feel confident attending regular yoga classes. 

Designed for complete beginners, but also suitable for those who want to revisit the foundations of yoga postures, pranayama and relaxation.



 

Over a course of 6 weeks we will cover:
 

  • wk 1: Basic alignments, use of props, synchronise movement/breath

  • wk 2: The basics of Flow, using Sun Salutations

  • wk 3: Recap of what we've done so far, new standing poses

  • wk 4: Seated postures, how to use breathing practices to energise or relax

  • wk 5: Well put everything together in a full practice

  • wk 6: Repeat wk 5, plus introduction to Yoga Nidra.

$130 for 6 weeks

Yoga mats and props will be provided. If you have a yoga mat, it's encouraged to bring your own.
